There is no college curriculum for billiard table technology, nor state licensing
and certification requirement for what we do in the pool table business (hell, even
hairdressers need a license in Pennsylvania!). Anyone can put up a web site or Craigslist
ad and proclaim themselves the next big thing, the latest 'best of the best' in pool
table services.
B.J's Billiards has actually been at a brick and mortar store since 1979, fully licensed
and insured, with a website, a
facebook page, awesome Angie's List ratings… and an earned
well defined track record to be proud of. My first pool room job in 1975, almost 40 years
of the billiard trade as of this writing.
We are previous authorized sales representatives for Connelly Billiards, Centre Spot
Billiards, Imperial International, World of Leisure Mfg., and now currently The C.L. Bailey
Company and Presidential Billiards - two of the best outfits we have ever had the privilege
to be affiliated with! Usually over 25 tables are on display in the store.
We have also worked as authorized installers for Brunswick, Silverthorne and Gandy
(at Home Recreation Products, at the time the worlds largest Gandy dealer), Olhausen,
American Heirloom Products, Golden West, Z Billiards, Craftmaster, AMF Playmaster among
many others...
We've done set up for ESPN ($50,000 Challenge of the Champions in Atlantic City), Arthur
Fennell's Comcast fund raiser and other events.
We've moved entire 20 table pool halls, run 40 table vending routes, and covered, moved,
re-rubbered and/or repaired countless home pool tables over the course of time.
Been from West Virginia to Cape Cod for service, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland…
Have worked for relocation companies (origin and destination), moving companies, internet
companies, you name it…
We have seen almost everything under the sun; carom billiard tables, snooker tables, 10
and 12 foot tables, 1,3,4,5 piece slate tables, Victor and Keystone tables, steel frame
tables, many antiques of every design…
Most importantly a very, very large portion of our business is repeat and referral,
